Saint Louis market in the COLD

It is normally fun to wander around the Saturday market in St. Louis, shopping for fresh produce, fish and cheese.

Last Saturday was a different matter; only about half of the vendors were there because it was about -18 C (8 F). It was COLD. Several vendors had shelters and one had a makeshift tent; you can see the heater inside.

Below is our favorite cheese vendor’s truck, sporting a canopy. As soon as I stepped inside, the heady aroma of good French cheese hit me, which I'm sure prompted me to purchase more than usual.

I guess that the café across from the market was doing a brisk business. The cold did not stop some of the normal market activities.
